1. Haunt the River
The only thing that could be scarier than the dark is not being able to see what’s in the water…in the dark. RIVERSPORT Adventures summons you and your rapid heartbeat to get your feet wet at the park’s many attractions. You can explore your fears by swinging high in the sky, zip lining across the murky water, kayaking through a haunted scene, listening to spooky stories and painting heavyset pumpkins. If you like to binge-eat out of fright, gooey s’mores and refreshing drinks will ensure you won’t die on an empty stomach. Source: Everfest. The event will take place October 29-30th, 2016 from 12-8pm. Click here for more information.
2. Pumpkin Harvest Craft Festival
There are a myriad of activities going on at the Craft Festival! Visit 45 of the craft booths offering repurposed metal and wood crafts and home décor products. Then head to the Pumpkin Patch Café to try Authentic Indian Tacos prepared by the OKC Chickasaw Elders Council. Afterward, visit the Friends of the Park Bake Sale to satisfy your sweet tooth. Finally, stop by the Friends of the Library to rummage through their book sale! There's lots going on at this free event taking place on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 from 9am-4pm. Click here for more information.
3. Plaza Beer Walk
The Plaza District will be hosting a night of Craft Beer & Camaraderie on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 from 6-10pm! October's craft beer partner is Tallgrass Brewing Company and they have supplied four of Plaza District's restaurants with some great brews! Check out this list:

4. Live! On The Plaza
Live! On The Plaza is the Plaza District's Second Friday Artwalk! Every second Friday of the month from 7-11pm (ish), the 16th Street Plaza District stays open late and features artists, live music, special events, local shopping, and more. Happening rain or shine! Click here for more information.
5. Art After 5
Enjoy a late-night art gallery experience at OKCMOA every Thursday for only $5 after 5 pm! Then head to the Roof Terrace to experience live local music, the best views of downtown OKC, a relaxing atmosphere, and a cash bar. Galleries are open from 5-9pm while the Roof Terrace is open 5-10pm. Insider tip: There are films shown and yoga classes offered on Thursday nights too! Click here for more information.
6. Make Mulled Wine or Hot Toddies
There's nothing better than a warm cup of mulled wine or a hot toddy when the weather cools off. Trying a new recipe with your date is a great way to learn a skill together, enriching your bond, and giving you lots to talk about. Coinciding a date with an activity allows for a more relaxed state to converse since both people are actively involved in performing a task together. Head over to our Cooking for Two blog to see a Mulled Wine recipe and our top 5 favorite Hot Toddy recipes.
7. Pumpkin Picking & Baking
Visit the Orr Family Farm to pick out a Sugar Pie Pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch! While you're there, check out the many other Fall festivities offered: corn mazes, cannon blasters, fireworks, hayrides, zombie apocalypse paintball, the cookie barn, and much more! Click here for a complete list of Fall festivities. Then head home and take on the challenge of baking a pumpkin pie totally from scratch! Visit PickYourOwn.org for the recipe.
