OVO from Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil returns to OKC with OVO, its newest touring show in arenas. OVO, meaning "egg" in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.

OKC Dodgers Game

If basketball isn't your thing, then come out and watch the OKC Dodgers as they take on the Iowa Cubs! A baseball game is a great casual date night activity. You get to be outside on a warm spring night, under the baseball field lights, munching on your favorite salty snack while sipping your favorite cold beer. If you're a baseball fanatic, just remember to give your date as much attention as your beloved Dodgers:)
Plant The Plaza
Where: 16th Street Plaza District

Volunteering with your date is a great way to get your hands dirty together while doing a good deed. Plant the Plaza is the annual Friends of the Plaza spring clean up event. On April 15th, they will plant flower beds in the Plaza and spruce up the entire district!

It’s been a busy season for the OKC Philharmonic – in addition to its regular complement of exceptionally talented guest performers, it’s also been giving trial runs to guest conductors in an ongoing search for its future music director. Farmer's Public Market

In an effort to restore the traditional public farmers market to the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market, they offer a Farmers Market on Saturdays, located on the first floor of the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market.These gatherings feature produce, meat, home made goods, honey, baked goods and more. The open market is a year around affair!
Festival Of The Arts
Where: Downtown Oklahoma City at Bicentennial Park
When: April 25-30, 2017
Since 1967, the Festival of the Arts has been Oklahoma City’s rite of spring. The Festival is a community celebration of the visual arts, performing arts and culinary arts.
Visual Arts: Media includes oils, water, drawing and printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass, sculpture, fiber, jewelry, wood, and two and three-dimensional works.
Culinary Arts: From appetizers to desserts, thirty-one vendors bring their specialties to the International Food Row and throughout the grounds.
Performing Arts: Nearly 300 entertainers of all ages donate their performances on three stages at the Festival.
Art After 5

OKCMOA is open until 9 pm every Thursday evening for Art After 5, giving visitors an opportunity to view the galleries and the Museum Store for $5 after 5 pm. In addition, the Roof Terrace gives visitors the ultimate downtown experience Thursday evenings from April through October with live local music, the best views of downtown OKC, a relaxing atmosphere, and a cash bar.
